What makes WOMB unique is our collaborative approach. We bring together midwives, doulas, counsellors, and healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care that supports women holistically

WOMB is led and directed by Perri Louise, offering counselling, somatic bodywork, and a nurturing community for mothers and families. WOMB is a place of care, connection, and support — a sanctuary for women through every stage of matrescence and beyond.

Alongside Perri’s core offerings, WOMB also welcomes aligned practitioners who share our vision of holistic care. Together, we create a space where mothers and families feel held, supported, and empowered.

With extensive experience as a Doula, Perri Louise has supported countless women through some of the most transformative and vulnerable moments of their lives. She is deeply committed to trauma-informed and respectful care that empowers women to heal and thrive. Having personally experienced the grief and isolation of pregnancy loss, Perri was driven to create WOMB — a nurturing space where women feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Her approach is grounded in empathy, holistic healing, and a genuine belief in the strength of the mother’s bond.

At WOMB, Perri works in close collaboration with trusted practitioners who share this vision of holistic, woman-centred care.

One of these valued collaborators is Caitlin of Beneath the Palms Midwifery, an Endorsed Midwife with years of experience providing continuous, respectful, and empowering care for women and families. Caitlin’s dedication to holistic maternal health shines through in her compassionate and informed approach to every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Having also experienced the heartache of pregnancy loss, Caitlin is deeply committed to ensuring no woman walks the journey alone. Through her collaboration with WOMB, she brings midwifery wisdom, trust, and emotional support — empowering women to embrace their path with confidence and care.

Perri Louise doula and somatic healer at WOMB FNQ

Perri Louise

Founder, Counsellor, Doula & Somatic Healer

admin@wombfnq.com

Perri Louise, mother of three, Doula, Counsellor, Childbirth Educator and intuitive healer — co-founded WOMB after years of supporting women through their most vulnerable and transformative life experiences.

Having personally experienced pregnancy loss, medical trauma, and the isolation so many women feel during matrescence, Perri felt deeply called to create a space that honours the whole woman — body, mind, heart, and spirit.

WOMB is the embodiment of her mission: a haven of continuity, compassion, and conscious care. A place where women can come exactly as they are, and be met with gentleness, wisdom, and unwavering support.

Alongside Endorsed Midwife Caitlin Mason — herself a fierce advocate for maternal mental health — Perri is transforming perinatal care in Far North Queensland. Together, they are reimagining what it means to mother, to heal, and to belong.

Jakara Enders EMDR Therapist at WOMB FNQ

jakara Enders

Jakara Enders, mother of four, Social Worker, EMDR Therapist and founder of Unfurl, brings a deeply compassionate, trauma-informed presence to WOMB.

With a long-standing background in child and youth mental health, family support, and perinatal wellbeing, Jakara’s work is guided by intuition, evidence, and heart.
