WOMB is a physical sanctuary located in Cairns, Far North Queensland, where women and families can gather for continuity of care, emotional healing, and community connection.
What makes WOMB unique is our collaborative approach.
We bring together counsellors, healers and healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care that holistically supports women and their families.
WOMB is a holistic counselling, healing, and community space dedicated to supporting women and families through the many transitions of motherhood and life.
At its core, WOMB exists to offer care that is relational, trauma-informed, and deeply respectful of the emotional and embodied experiences of women — particularly through matrescence, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, grief, and identity change.
WOMB is a place of connection and support. A sanctuary where women are not rushed, fixed, or pathologised, but met as whole beings — with nervous systems, histories, relationships, and inner wisdom that deserve to be held with care.
What WOMB Offers
WOMB brings together counselling, somatic and body-based therapies, and community offerings within a shared, intentional space.
Within WOMB, clients may engage with:
Trauma-informed counselling and emotional support
Somatic and embodied approaches to healing
Perinatal and postpartum care
Group circles, workshops, and community gatherings
Practitioner-led events and educational offerings
Rather than operating as a traditional clinic, WOMB functions as a collaborative ecosystem — allowing people to access individual support, group experiences, or a combination of both, depending on their needs and season of life.
A Shared Vision of Care
WOMB is led and held by a clear philosophy:
Safety comes before change
Healing is relational, not isolated
The body holds essential information
Community supports integration and resilience
All practitioners and offerings within the space align with these principles, ensuring coherence and trust for those who enter.
Alongside its core counselling and healing work, WOMB welcomes aligned, independent practitioners who share this vision of holistic, woman-centred care. Together, we create a space where women and families feel supported, empowered, and deeply held.
WOMB was created in response to the isolation many women experience — particularly during pregnancy, postpartum, loss, and major life transitions. It is a space shaped by lived understanding of grief, vulnerability, and transformation, and by a commitment to doing things differently: slower, safer, and more human. WOMB exists so women do not have to navigate these seasons alone.
Community, Collaboration & Belonging
In addition to one-on-one support, WOMB places strong emphasis on community and connection. Through circles, workshops, and shared events, WOMB offers spaces where stories can be shared, experiences normalised, and nervous systems regulated through safe connection.
Practitioners work collaboratively rather than in isolation, and clients are supported to move fluidly between different forms of care as their needs evolve.
MEET THE TEAM
-
Perri Louise, mother of three, Doula, Counsellor, Childbirth Educator and intuitive healer — co-founded WOMB after years of supporting women through their most vulnerable and transformative life experiences.
Having personally experienced pregnancy loss, medical trauma, and the isolation so many women feel during matrescence, Perri felt deeply called to create a space that honours the whole woman — body, mind, heart, and spirit.
WOMB is the embodiment of her mission: a haven of continuity, compassion, and conscious care. A place where women can come exactly as they are, and be met with gentleness, wisdom, and unwavering support.

Jakara Enders, mother of four, Social Worker, EMDR Therapist and founder of Unfurl, brings a deeply compassionate, trauma-informed presence to WOMB.
With a long-standing background in child and youth mental health, family support, and perinatal wellbeing, Jakara’s work is guided by intuition, evidence, and heart. Her approach is rooted in the belief that parents don’t need to be perfect — they need to feel resourced, seen, and held. With warmth and clinical integrity, she supports families as they move through the complexities of healing, parenting, and self-discovery.
Jakara offers individual EMDR therapy and counselling for women navigating trauma, matrescence, and the emotional intensity of raising children. Her work is both practical and nurturing — weaving together neuroscience with maternal wisdom, nervous system safety with relational care.
She also facilitates Circle of Security and Protective Behaviours workshops, empowering parents to cultivate secure attachments and emotional resilience within their families.

Hollie Fisher
-
Hollie is a mother of two children and one fur baby, a compassionate occupational therapist, and a nurturing women’s circle facilitator. With a deep commitment to supporting mothers, she creates a warm and welcoming environment at the WOMB, where her weekly mums and bubs group unfolds.
In this sacred space, Hollie guides mothers through the journey of matrescence—the profound transition that occurs each time a woman embraces motherhood. Together, participants explore and reflect on relevant topics such as motherhood myths, understanding the mental load that mothers carry, navigating feelings of guilt and shame, identity shifts, and the neurological and physiological changes mothers undergo. Additionally, they discuss the new demands placed on mothers, motherhood fantasies, and interpret the new thoughts and feelings that arise, alongside education on the nervous system.
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy, Hollie offers trauma-informed group facilitation that empowers mothers to share their stories in a safe and supportive atmosphere. She integrates evidence-based tools and resources, ensuring that each mother can navigate this transformative journey authentically and confidently.
Mothers who join Hollie’s groups are invited to approach the experience with an open mind and heart, and leave feeling nourished, held, and truly seen. Through her gentle guidance, Hollie cultivates a sense of belonging and connection in the beautiful community of motherhood.

Sheetal Mistry was once in the same shoes as you. After navigating her own journey through anxiety and depression, she found healing through holistic methods and somatic trauma work focused on the heart.
Leaving her past career as an optometrist behind, Sheetal felt called to support others facing mental health challenges.
She began her training as a Deep Transformational Life Coach, but soon realised that coaching alone wasn’t enough to shift people out of deeply ingrained patterns.
Through continued exploration, she found somatic therapy – a modality that aligned with her desire to help clients heal the root cause of their patterns and restore a regulated nervous system.
Core Transformation begins when you engage in your own somatic processing and trauma healing. With the support of guided facilitation and targeted questioning, it becomes a highly effective way to dismantle limiting beliefs and address trauma at its source.
