The Rebirthing You workshop is more than just a birth class. It is an embodied, immersive experience that prepares both the birthing person and their support partner for the physical, emotional and spiritual journey of labour, birth and early parenthood.

Perri is a counsellor and experienced birth worker, with a background in doula support, childbirth education, and nervous system–informed counselling.

Her work draws on:

  • Years of supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum

  • Counselling training with a focus on identity transition and emotional regulation

  • Somatic and nervous system–informed approaches

  • Evidence-based birth education and trauma-aware care

This workshop reflects the intersection of clinical understanding and real-world birth support — grounded, practical, and human.

Whether you're planning a home birth, hospital birth or something in between, Rebirthing You honours all birth paths and helps you navigate them with clarity, confidence and connection.

Testimonies

“This workshop also supported my partner.”

He left with a clearer understanding of the stages of labour and how to show up with confidence as a support person.

“I came to understand the mind and body of labour in a way I never had before.”

Exploring birth as a rite of passage helped me see labour as a meaningful transition, not just a physical process.

“I didn’t know what I didn’t know.”

The education filled important gaps in my understanding of labour and birth.

“The tools shared helped me build confidence in my body’s ability to birth.”

This knowledge supported a more physiological approach to labour.

Birth is one of the most transformative experiences in a woman’s life. It shapes not only how a baby arrives, but how a woman understands herself, her body, her relationships, and her capacity to navigate change.

Yet much of what we are taught about birth is based on linear timelines, clock-based progress, and external markers — frameworks that do not reflect how birth actually unfolds in the body.

Birth is cyclical, hormonal, relational, and deeply neurological. When women are not supported to understand this, confusion, self-doubt, and unresolved experiences can follow — even when everything appears “clinically fine.”

Rebirthing You is a one-day workshop designed to support women and families to understand birth more accurately, prepare more effectively, and integrate their experiences with clarity and compassion.

What we explore together

  • Understand birth as one of life's most profound rites of passage. We explore the phases of labour through the lens of transformation — from Separation, Liminality, Emergence, to Incorporation — helping you view birth not only as a medical event but as a sacred, transformative journey for both the birthing person and support partner.

  • Hands-on, evidence-based techniques including acupressure, Rebozo, TENS, and movement practices to support comfort, rhythm, and instinctive birthing. Learn how to create a safe hormonal environment that allows oxytocin, endorphins, and adrenaline to support a powerful, undisturbed labour.

  • Your support person is more than a witness — they are your anchor, your advocate, and your grounding force. This workshop focuses on practical partner skills, emotional presence, and communication tools so they feel confident in their role throughout the entire journey.

  • Labour is unpredictable. We equip you with decision-making tools (like B.R.A.I.N.S.), emotional anchoring practices, and advocacy skills so you can remain connected, calm, and informed — no matter how your birth unfolds.

  • Birth is only the beginning. We dive into Matrescence (the transformation into motherhood), the 5-5-5 postpartum rest framework, and the Becoming Us approach to relationship care, ensuring you feel resourced not just for birth, but for the tender months that follow.
