How perri Works
Perri provides evidence-based, trauma-informed care that meets you where you are — nurturing confidence, resilience, and emotional wellbeing from pregnancy through postpartum and into early parenting. Offering a blend of clinical expertise, lived experience and embodied care to support your body, heart and nervous system at every step.
Perri’s work is grounded in trauma-informed counselling and shaped by a deep understanding of how experiences live in the body, nervous system, and relational field.
Working from a bottom-up approach to healing — meaning we don’t begin by analysing or fixing the story. Instead, we start with the body: creating safety, awareness, and capacity so your system can process what it’s been holding.
This work gently integrates:
Trauma-informed counselling
Embodied and somatic awareness
Attachment-informed care
Lived experience of motherhood and identity transition
Nervous system regulation and resourcing
Intuitive insight and inner guidance
Healing here is not forced or cognitive-only. It unfolds through embodied processing, somatic connection, and developing a deeper relationship with your internal world.
An Integrated, Whole-Person Approach
Perri supports clients to reconnect with their mind, body, and inner knowing — recognising that healing happens when these parts are no longer fragmented.
As safety builds, many people naturally access deeper insight, clarity, and guidance from within. She holds this aspect with respect and grounding — allowing intuitive awareness to emerge without bypassing the body or nervous system.
This integration supports:
Greater self-trust and internal safety
Regulation of emotional reactivity and overwhelm
Healing of childhood imprints and attachment patterns
Awareness of belief systems formed through early experiences

Meet Perri Louise, The founder of Wisdom Of Mothers Bond FNQ
Her work centres on nervous system regulation, belief systems, and embodied integration — supporting women and families through periods of transition, identity shift, and emotional change with depth, clarity, and grounded care.
Rather than working from a single modality, Perri brings together somatic counselling, trauma-informed practice, and lived experience to meet clients where they are, without bypassing or fixing. Her approach is relational, consent-led, and rooted in the understanding that lasting change happens when the body feels safe enough to participate
Her passion for this work was shaped through her own journey into motherhood, where she witnessed firsthand how deeply identity, belief systems, and the nervous system are impacted during life’s major thresholds. This experience informs her steady, compassionate presence and her commitment to helping others navigate change without losing themselves in the process.
At the heart of Perri’s work is a simple belief: there is no one right way — only what is supportive, sustainable, and true for the individual. Her role is not to lead from the front, but to walk alongside, creating space for clarity, autonomy, and trust in one’s own inner capacity.
Attachment-Informed & Relational
-
Our early relationships shape how we experience safety, closeness, boundaries, and self-worth. In sessions, we gently explore how these patterns may be showing up in the body, emotions, and present-day relationships.
The focus is not on analysing or fixing, but on bringing awareness to how past experiences may still be influencing the way we respond to life today.
-
Sessions are paced, collaborative, and responsive to what feels supportive for you.
You are not pushed to relive or retell experiences before your system is ready. Instead, we pay attention to what your body and nervous system may be communicating and work from there.
This allows the work to unfold in a way that feels safe, respectful, and grounded.
-
Many people notice gradual shifts such as:
• a deeper sense of connection with themselves
• increased emotional steadiness and self-regulation
• the ability to integrate past experiences without overwhelm
• greater clarity around identity, values, and boundaries
• responding to situations with more choice rather than automatic reactionsThese changes often emerge slowly as awareness and safety grow.
-
Healing is not about becoming someone new or fixing what is “wrong.”
Instead, it is often about coming back into relationship with yourself — reconnecting with your body, your inner signals, and your own sense of truth.
Over time, this can create a deeper sense of self-trust and clarity about how you want to move through the world.
